 On the 26th July, NDT Inspection & Testing became an integral part of James Fisher Inspection and Measurement Services (JFIMS) Ltd, the specialist inspection and radiation measurement division of the wide ranging James Fisher Group. By joining JFIMS, NDT Inspection & Testing can look forward to developing wider applications for its technology and services, especially in the JFIMS’s core nuclear, defence and industrial markets.
As Chris Aylward, managing director of NDT Inspection & Testing, explains, “The take-over is great news for our staff and customers alike. Our staff can look forward to an even more stable future and to the excitement of meeting new challenges in new fields with new techniques. Our customers will benefit greatly as we develop the enlarged business, with the focus very much on delivering effective, value-added services. However, it is important to point out that, on a day-to-day basis it will be business as usual, with the same management structure, strategy and policies, all with the full support of JFIMS.”
